Lash Lift & Tint

If you love the look of lash extensions but have been in search of a quicker option that requires less upkeep, lash lifting is a technique that creates a similar effect for length and fullness. Using your natural lashes, a professional lash artist will use a gentle chemical solution – similar to the kind used for hair perming – to relax and then semi-permanently curl your lash line and giving them a lift that makes them look longer.

Using this method, lash stylists are able to create a variety of looks and styles – from a fanned-out fluttery look, to a sleek cat eye, or a simply natural curve – which will then stay put for weeks at a time.

Lash tinting, meanwhile, is a treatment that colours the lashes with a semi-permanent tint. It is used to darken the lash hairs, and acts much like a mascara, minus the need to apply day after day.

For this protocol, your lash artists will work to choose a shade that is suited to your desired outcome. The usual colours used for lash tinting are Black and Blue Black. The tint is then applied from the base of the lash line to the tips of each lash and allowed to set. Once it is removed, the lashes look instantly more defined. It can also help to define and open up the look of your entire eye area.

As with any semi-permanent service, your curl and colour will subside gradually over the course of about 4-8 weeks. Then, once you’re ready for a refresh, you can come visit us again at our Eyebrow Ink Salon in Perth and we’ll take care of the rest!

There’s practically no downtime! You might experience slight sensitivity immediately after, but this usually fades within a short period.

• Avoid water: For the first 24 hours, avoid getting the tinted area wet to ensure the dye sets properly.
• No rubbing: Be gentle with the treated area for a few days to avoid smudging or dislodging the dye.
• Skip makeup: Avoid using mascara or other eye makeup on freshly tinted lashes for the first 24 hours.
• Enjoy: That’s it! Flaunt your defined features and beautiful tinted lashes.
